Meet Our Flagstaff Dental Team

We Exceed Expectations Every Day

We’re not shy about saying that we have one of the kindest and most capable dental teams in the country! Patients are consistently surprised by how friendly and efficient our staff is, from scheduling to answering questions to sorting out payment details. We look forward to getting to know you, and you can learn a little more about us first by reading below.

Jennifer, Office Manager

Jennifer has been with our practice for her entire 20+ year dental career, during which she says the connections she’s made with our patients have made them feel more like family.

Originally from Portland, ME, Jennifer met her husband, Phillip, in Phoenix. They moved to Flagstaff the next year, and they now have two beautiful children, Rocco and Isabella. A proud baseball family, they often go to Diamondbacks games and even travel to Boston to watch the Red Sox. Jennifer also makes it a point to support local Little League and high school teams.

Erica, Front Desk Assistant

Erica says that the best part of her job is getting to be surrounded by such wonderful people each day, referring to both her teammates and our patients! She completed her education at Northern Arizona University.

While Erica’s parents are originally from China, she grew up in Apple Valley, CA—she can speak three languages! Outside of the office, she likes to cook, bake, and crochet, and is a licensed esthetician who loves doing lash extensions.

Faylene, Dental Assistant

Faylene’s entire dental career has been spent right here at Six Summits Dentistry. She says that nothing is better than building confidence in our patients while building connections at the same time!

A Flagstaff native, Faylene has a blended family with six kids and one cat that keep her very busy. In her free time, you’ll usually find her going on nature walks, weightlifting, or taking a family day.

Mikayla, Registered Dental Hygienist

Mikayla loves working with our patients to educate them so they’re better able to take care of their oral health and make informed treatment decisions. A graduate of the Northern Arizona University Department of Dental Hygiene, she first started in dentistry at 17. Today, she is certified in NOMAD, local anesthesia, and nitrous, and routinely completes continuing education to better serve our patients.

Mikayla is married to a wonderful man who works as a civil engineer for a local company, and they have two small children. Outside of work, she likes to teach her kids, go hiking, and learn new crafty hobbies (crocheting, sewing, etc.).

Julie, Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie loves building relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She’s always eager to get to know each patient and help them improve their oral health from one visit to another. On top of her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Northern Arizona University, she has additional certifications in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration.

A proud Flagstaff native, she has two adventurous kids waiting for her back home. They like to spend their free time enjoying all kinds of outdoor activities together. For them, if the day involves hiking, swimming, camping, exercising, and sunshine, it’s a good day!

Tara, Lead Dental Assistant

Tara joined us in 2025 and brings almost a decade of experience to our practice. A graduate of Carrington College, she started her career as an endodontist assistant before making the move to general dentistry. For her, each day is all about helping our patients achieve (and maintain!) their cosmetic and oral health goals.

A loving mother of three, Tara says that her home life is adventurous, sometimes chaotic, but always full of laughter (and noise). She tries to bring the family to her hometown of Hotevilla regularly because she is passionate about teaching her children traditional Hopi ways. When things are calm at home, she likes to sew and embroider.

Savanna, Dental Hygienist

Savanna graduated from Northern Arizona University’s Dental Hygiene Program, but before becoming a hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant for two years. She’s certified in nitrous oxide, local anesthesia, and laser dentistry. One of her favorite parts of her career is being able to work alongside such an amazing team.

Originally from Mammoth, Arizona, Savanna comes from a family of six, and she’s recently engaged to her fiancé, Stone. Outside of the office, you can find her spending time with friends and family, going thrifting, and watching movies. An interesting fact about her is that she grew up in a small town with about 1,100 people!
